Measurement of the Physical Properties for the Domestic Coal Combustion Dust

Abstract

|
Among the air pollutants, coal combustion dust causes a considerable harms to the growth of plants and injures the animal´s respiratory organs.
In this study, six coal utilzing companies emitting a lot of dusts were selected. The electrical resistivities, size distributions and chemical composition of the fly ash, and gas temperature, moisture, and surface content of coal were measured for these companies.
With these measured data, the factors influencing on the precipitation efficiency of the electrical precipitator were discussed.
